The essentials for booking a tour with Active Arenal.
Tours can be booked online or by contacting us via WhatsApp or email. Your reservation is confirmed once we send you a confirmation message. Please provide accurate contact details, hotel/pickup location, travel dates and number of travelers.
Prices are shown per person in US dollars (unless stated otherwise, such as per-vehicle ATV rates). Each tour page lists exactly what is included and not included. Combined tours include lunch, round-trip door-to-door transportation and bilingual guides.
Online payments are processed securely through our payment provider. For interim bookings arranged by WhatsApp, our team will confirm the payment method with you directly.
Pickup times are arranged in advance based on your hotel location in the La Fortuna / Arenal area. Please be ready at the agreed time; late arrivals may reduce tour time or, in some cases, be treated as a no-show.
We understand plans change. To cancel or reschedule, contact us as early as possible. Specific cancellation windows and any applicable fees will be confirmed at the time of booking. Tours may be modified or rescheduled for safety reasons (weather, river or trail conditions); in such cases we will offer an alternative date or a refund where applicable.
Comfortable clothes and closed shoes, swimwear and towel, a change of clothes, sunscreen, insect repellent, a hat, a camera and water. Tour-specific gear is provided.
